12-16 September 2016
37th Summer School of Automatic Control
Grenoble
Increasingly complex traffic makes it a big challenge to optimally exploit existing infrastructure. Control system tools can offer innovative and well-performing solutions, along with new technologies involving a multitude of sensors and actuators.
This Summer School aims to present the main mathematical tools for modelling, predicting and controlling traffic, from the most traditional to the most advanced, including optimal routing and cooperative ITS. To this end, domain experts will be present to share their expertise and cutting-edge research results. Emmanuel Bert, TSS Senior Consultant, will present “A simulation-based traffic prediction tool for real-time decision support”. Also in attendence from TSS will be Josep Perarnau, Scientific Software Developer.
This course honours research on advanced algorithms for traffic prediction and control and will be hosted by Carlos Canudas de Wit, the school’s scientific coordinator.
