Monday 6th & Tuesday 7th October: Aimsun Users’ Meeting
Wednesday 8th October: Aimsun Training Course
London, UK
We are delighted to invite you to join us for our 12th annual Aimsun Users’ Meeting.
This year we have chosen London as the location for the meeting in order to mark the opening of our new UK branch office in the UK capital.
On Monday 6th and Tuesday 7th October 2014, Aimsun users and members of the TSS team will meet for technical sessions, to share their latest experiences, discuss new trends and developments and present case studies.
The meeting will be followed by a one-day Aimsun training course on Wednesday 8th October, to be held in the new TSS UK branch office.
The venue
We will be holding the meeting at the stylish Radisson Blu Edwardian Kenilworth hotel, where we also have arranged special accommodation rates for you (see below in ‘Accommodation’).
- Nearest Tube station: Tottenham Court Road; Central & Northern lines
- Nearest main line train stations: Euston, King’s Cross, St Pancras & Charing Cross, all with direct access onto Northern line.
The meeting itself will take place in a spacious, classically decorated suite which has its own private bar and foyer area. The meeting location has the latest AV and communications equipment. You are also welcome to use all of the facilities provided by the hotel’s business centre.

Training course: integrating four-step travel demand modelling with dynamic traffic assignment
To see some pure innovation in action, come to the Aimsun training course on integrating four-step travel demand modelling with dynamic traffic assignment and we’ll show you the benefits of this type of integration and why it’s uniquely available in Aimsun Expert.
Methodologically this is a major innovation and a fantastic example of adapting the tool to the correct methodology for a study rather than a changing your methodology to fit the available functions of a tool you are using.
This is not only of interest to current Aimsun Expert users but also to anyone working on large modelling projects. We will also be dealing with popular requests such as hybrid simulation or taking bus journey times in PT assignment from a dynamic simulation.
