7-10 February 2017, Aimsun foundation course + travel demand modeling, Montreal

Paolo Rinelli will be the tutor for this four-day Aimsun foundation course, to be held in central Montreal, Tuesday Febraury 7th – Friday February 10th.

The course is aimed at new users and users who wish to refresh or extend their skills in microscopic and mesoscopic simulations. The last day of the course is dedicated solely to the macroscopic functionalities and travel demand modeling in Aimsun.

Day 3
Microscopic network loading (3 h 45 min)

Mesoscopic and hybrid network loading (3 h 45 min)
  • Mesoscopic vehicle behaviour
  • Calibration of a mesoscopic model
  • Guidelines for hybrid microscopic-mesoscopic simulation
