ITE 2016 Smart City and Transportation Summit

TSS is a gold sponsor at this technical half-day conference on smart cities and how the transportation field is adapting to the connected environment. Topics include ITS, NYCDOT’s connected vehicles programme, and how the tech industry is finding solutions to integrate the existing infrastructure with the connected world.
The program will start with IBM’s and NJII’s Smart City teams; followed by presentations from Intersection, Placemeter, Uber, and CartoDB; a talk by Mike Lydon – author of Tactical Urbanism; a panel discussion with NYCDOT’s connected vehicles team, NJDOT, the City of Newark, and Port Authority; and closing remarks by NYCDOT Chief Technology Office, Cordell Schachter.
